Pelvic Floor Workshop - brought to you by Be Yourself Pilates

This workshop will help you to identify your pelvic floor; understand how it works in relation to bladder and bowel control in men; and bladder, bowel and uterus control in women. You will understand how our daily activities can have a negative impact on the strength of this vital support system and you will leave armed with a number of exercises that you can easily fit into your daily routine to significantly improve your confidence.

Both Anji and Hayley will guide you through a pelvic floor class where you will learn to locate your pelvic floor muscles and correctly engage them.

This workshop is suitable for anyone over the age of 16. This will be a small group of no more than 10 people in order to encourage conversation and inclusion. Pre and Post natal mothers are welcome. However, we will also be offering a specific Pre and Post natal pelvic floor workshop soon.

Fall Prevention Workshop Series

This series of three workshops is for anyone looking to improve their confidence with functional activities. Learn how to balance your body and correct posture with a number of functional exercises to prevent falls and give you confidence for every day living.

Each session will consist of 30 minutes of very low intensity, zero impact movements using small pieces of equipment and functional aids (chairs, bands etc) and will be followed by some light refreshments and Q &A with Hayley Moore to answer any specific concerns you may have with regard to getting around safely in your home and outside.

This workshop series is a progressive programme and therefore it is advisable that you attend all three classes. The three sessions are booked as a package.

Beginners Mat Pilates is a 4 week course learning the basics of Pilates. All ages, genders and abilities welcome but please note this is a beginners class and we will be concentrating on the fundamentals of Pilates addressing postural alignment and how to engage core muscles for strength.

Pilates is a mind-body work out to help you learn to move efficiently whilst developing flexibility and core strength.
